Ask the children, "Who is Abraham?"
What will they say?
The bright ones might speak of Lincoln.
Those more average will stare at you.
The child often not thought of as intelligent
(because of his strange world view, and lack of ability in science),
This child will surprise you:
"Abraham, once known as Abram,
was faithful to God, and in his old age he became
a father, the father of many nations."
This child's knowledge and presence will astound you.
But does it matter?
For who remembers Abraham,
And why should he be important?
